Wedding ceremonies at Normanton Church on Rutland Water

Normanton Church on Rutland Water is one of the most picturesque and unique wedding venues in the UK. This historic church, built in the 12th century, is located on the banks of Rutland Water, the largest man-made lake in Europe, and offers a truly stunning and serene setting for your wedding day. In this blog post, we will explore some of the reasons why you should consider getting married at Normanton Church on Rutland Water. This blog isn’t affiliated in any way to Normanton Church, Rutland Water or Anglian Water, its just part of our series looking at local wedding venues in and around the Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire area. Also how could we not write about this place, it’s where Gareth and I got married on a sunning day in June in 2018.

First and foremost, Normanton Church offers a truly unique and breathtaking setting for your wedding ceremony. The church is located on the banks of Rutland Water, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful scenery. The location provides the perfect opportunity for stunning wedding photographs, with the beautiful scenery providing a natural backdrop. The church's peaceful and secluded location makes it the perfect place to exchange your vows, with the natural beauty of the lake providing a stunning backdrop for your special day.
